Birds eye view of MacTown

Birds eye view of MacTown

So as you can see McMurdo or MacTown is really like a small mining town. It comes complete with everything you would find in modern worlds. It comes as quite a surprise to most people,  I too was shocked to see things like stop signs and telephone poles. I hope this helps put things in perspective. McMurdo can hold up to 1,000 people during the summer and 250 in the winter. Scott base take a 10th of that with 100 Max in the summer and about 20 over the summer. Pictures are worth a thousand words, I hope you enjoyed!
